One of my favorite things to do is share some of the countless lessons I’ve learned and wonderful experiences I’ve had while working with children since 2003! And to be honest, nobody really wants to attend a presentation and just sit there and listen. So I strive to utilize the same elements in my workshops and keynotes that I do in my classes, making each one inspiring, interactive, active, humorous and, above all…FUN!
I also realize our lives can be hectic, so one goal is to provide convenience. With some advanced planning, I can come to your location, schedule workshops around your availability, and tailor sessions to meet your needs.

Moovin’ & Groovin’: Being an educator can certainly be challenging! And, yes, our profession is sometimes misunderstood… and almost always underappreciated. But it also happens to be the greatest job on the planet! So in this interactive keynote presentation that gets the audience up and on stage, we’ll put on our collective party hats while singing and dancing our way through a celebration of teachers…because you are worth it!
Lions & Tigers & Bears – The Wild Side of Play: As kids, many of us climbed trees, ran through sprinklers, and stayed outside until dark. But today’s children are often much more sedentary, and the results are starting to show. In this highly interactive workshop, you’ll participate in a wide range fun games designed to get kids active…from going on safari to catching butterflies to fleeing fire-breathing dragons! Along the way, we’ll aim to tap into children’s most powerful tool – their imaginations. Just watch out for those pesky dragons!
Reading Giraffe – Where Books Run Wild: Reading is a key that opens the door to a lifetime of learning! In this interactive workshop, we’ll dive into the wonder of picture books, from front to back cover, and share storytelling secrets for turning them into fun, active adventures in learning. We’ll examine keys to engaging, collaborative read-alouds for auditory, visual, and kinetic learners, and will jump into games, role-playing activities, and STEAM-based activities built around our books’ storylines and characters.
Midday Madness: This is a creative teambuilding experience where participants become members of a squad as we embark on a series of games that require cooperation, creativity, and teamwork. Teams will participate in high-energy activities with names like Wildlife Roundup, Caterpillar Races, and Bats & Rats! It’s a great way to reinforce camaraderie, while throwing in just enough healthy competition to keep things exciting!
